Relocating or moving to Brisbane Queensland Australia ? local time and date

Moving to Queensland Australia..

Best Move I ever made,  Sunny beautiful,  warm ,  We just love it.Gold coast looking North

Life started in a cooler southern climate but Queensland called. Queensland is the state in Australia attracting approx 600+ people a week to move and make a life in this great part of the world.

Things have changed slightly from our first move some years ago, population has boomed traffic has increased and house prices are going through the roof. Our place of residing is the western suburbs of Brisbane a huge growth area and over the next 5-10 years will become a city next to a city. video

Employment is at the best it has been , employment for the young and the trained is most needed. First hand I can assure you that young apprentice tradesman are highly sort , all that is required is a good work ethic. Qualified tradesman are like hens teeth, nurses teachers sales and most other positions too. If you are considering the Gold coast this too has opportunities but Brisbane seems to be more opportunistic for the new arrivals. However do your research before the move contact agencies or just call the businesses you would like to work for.Brisbane river

Family time is great, weather does not seem to stop the action . Living outdoors throughout the year is a must. The patio with the BBQ is a must have. The children spend more time outside than in and the beaches not too far away are what its all about.

Many new developments can be found around major towns and cities. In Brisbane  or the Gold coast  suitable housing can be found for quick accommodation until you get on your feet once in Queensland.

Queensland is very diverse, You have the large centers Brisbane, Gold coast, sunshine coast, Toowoomba,Townsville to the North.

Don't ever overlook the the opportunities on offer in the regional areas. Towns like Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Cairns, Mt Isa are all unique and have demand for skilled and unskilled workers. Due to the mining boom in many parts of Queensland some housing affordability and accommodation  is in short supply. North Queensland is magnificent for lifestyle seekers.

Looking for negatives, well Brisbane is a city and has the associated problems that all cities will have. The health system seems to be decaying, some regional centers are well provided for but lack major amenities.  Melbourne and Adelaide would have a better health system. Roads are busy, very busy at time. Much is now in place for a improvement but is playing catch up in most areas of the state. Water is scarce. but on the improve, Electricity is on the increase and rental accommodation is going through the roof. As mentioned Queensland is very diverse and many areas city and country offer assorted lifestyle qualities that need to be explored.

I must mention it is all go ahead in Queensland things are being done to the best of all concerned ability.

On a personal note on a recent driving holiday into  3 other states on my return realized just how nice Queensland really is. The problems  regarding health, water, schools and roads are also issues in those states as well.

For information try and contact local councils . That's a great place to start. Queensland Councils contact
